So as some of you will know there has been a number of people close to me and my family who have suffered from depression down the years. I have wanted to do this event for some time and thought this would be the right time to raise both money and awareness of depression and the work of this fantastic charity.
I am going to be competing in The Fight (http://www.facebook.com/TheFightBelfast) which is a white collar boxing event in Belfast in June and need you to get behind me to raise money for Aware Defeat Depression.
Of course, what this really means is that if you have ever felt like punching me, now is your time to make that happen. Simply sponsor me and you can have someone else hit me in the face on the 23rd June. You don't even have to worry about hurting yourself. Perfect!
