Story

Hello,

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all those who sponsored me - I completed the 10 miles in a personal best time of 1 hr and 23 mins so I'm well chuffed! Thanks for all the sponsorship, it means so much and for such a worthy cause.

And if you haven't sponsored me - there's still time!

Nicolax

Yes it's me again! Once again I am preparing for a journey of a lifetime...well, 10 miles around Portsmouth and Southsea but the last two miles along the seafront running against the head wind is always a killer...!

This is the third year I have taken part, running in 2006 and 2007 and with a break last year because I was heavily pregnant with Holly (any excuse eh?) Once again, I am raising money for the Royal Marsden, where my brother-in-law was treated six years ago for leukaemia. It was a horrible time for the family but we always knew he was receiving the best treatment and care possible. He is still alive to tell the tale, but we will always be eternally grateful to the hospital, and this is our way of saying thank you.

OK, enough emotional blackmail, fork over your cash and here comes the boring bit...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity
