About my charity : Douglas Macmillan Hospice Douglas Macmillan Hospice
Douglas Macmillan Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults across North Staffordshire and bordering areas, who have cancer and other life limiting illnesses. The hospice needs to raise over £5.5 million each year and with no association with any national charity or organisation bearing a similar name, the hospice is dependent upon the continuing generosity of our supporters.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On 13th April 2008 I will be running the London Marathon for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. 

Hospices are incredible places which provide care, support and dignity to people and families facing cancer and other terminal illnesses. 

The Douglas Macmillan Hospice did a fantastic job of looking after my Dad in his struggle with pancreatic cancer.  The staff also provided a support network for my Mum and family which was invaluable over such a difficult time.

It costs the Douglas Macmillan Hospice more than £5.5 million to provide comprehensive palliative care services in the hospice, community and patients' homes. 

Additional funding is crucial to their future so please dig deep and sponsor me online now!
