<p>I am making the leap to vacate Devon for two weeks and heading to Luxor in Egypt. While there I will be volunteering for the charity ACE (Animal Care in Egypt). I shall be helping to care for many of the animals they will have in being treated, as well as helping with educational lessons on animal care to local people.</p> <p>Many of the animals in Egypt are working animals and due to poorly fitting harnesses and tack, many suffer severe sores and lacerations! Many, too, work long hours and will suffer with exhaustion and malnutrition.</p> <p>Please help to raise as much money as possible, to help buy supplies, help feed the patients and to pay for valuable vets to treat thousands of animals. ACE was started in 2000 and provides education for the local people on animal care, as well as offering free veterinary care for all animals, predominantly the working animals.</p> <p>There will be numerous fundrasiing activities over the next couple months, so I'll keep you informed of what is going on.</p> <p>Please donate what you can... every penny counts!</p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now.</p>
