St Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.

Story

After losing my mum to cancer last year I really wanted to raise money for the people who made her last days special and help change the future for other sufferers.  So I've decided to cut my "Very long hair, Very short!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I've been growing it since the age of 12, and it will be made into wigs for chemotherapy patients.

Anyone who wants to have more than six inches of hair chopped off can easily donate it to be made into wigs.  Just tie it up before it's chopped & send it to Bloomsbury of London, a UK company already doing a lot of wig making & helping a lot of very good causes:- www.bloomsburywigs.com

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Margaret's Somerset Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The money raised will then be split equally between St Margaret's Hospice Somerset, Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.  (But it has to be collected in the one place first).

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Nicola
