What is Jeans for Genes? It's fun, it's simple, it's a great cause! Jeans for Genes is a national appeal where everyone across the UK is asked to throw out the usual dress rules, jump into their jeans and donate £1 schools / £2 companies to help children with genetic disorders. Jeans for Genes is organised by four national charities and raises funds for research into serious and often life-threatening genetic disorders affecting thousands of children. Funds also provide laboratory equipment and facilities, as well as valuable advice and support for families.

Well I did it!! 7hrs 58mins and 58secs!! Couldn't of got any closer to my aim of under 8hrs!  Yes it was horrid and I'm not so much feeling glory as pian! But HEY I FINISHED THE LONDON MARATHON!!!!! Which is goooood, so those of you who can just give a little more xxxx and thanks to all my supporters there or not. Sarah the pink fairy kept me going till the end, Janet Tompson YOU ROCK for all the coaching, support and belief, Paul my hubby walked the last 6.2 miles with me! "Running Bare" for the great runnunig shoes. GAZ always believe in the ice bath cheers!!! Gorden you really did help me, even if I was behind you most of the way, thank you. xx BIG THANKS TO ALLxx
