Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. Their main priority is to build specialist units in hospitals for teenagers going through treatment for cancer. TCT are now building one of these units at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Surrey, which is where I've had my cancer treatment since I was 11. It's a fantastic hospital, and I'd really like to give something back to them. I have set up 'Nicole's fund' with the Teenage Cancer Trust, and I am now trying to raise £50,000 to help them with building this new unit which will include social and recreational areas, kitchens, a sensory zone and cutting edge computing and entertainment systems. It is hoped that the unit will be ready within the next two years, so I'd like to have reached my target by then. Everyday in the UK 6 teenagers and young adults are diagnosed with cancer. That's 6 today, 6 tomorrow and 6 the day after. It's around 2,100 teenagers a year. Think about that for a minute. Now please donate genourously to this fantastic cause, and help improve the lives of teenagers fighting cancer.
