Reach was launched by families of children with upper limb deficiencies to provide support and information to others. The charity not only works closely with the families of young children effected by the deficiency, but also helps provide opportunities to those children as they approach adulthood.

My story

OK, here we are, 3 days to go to the London marathon, end of my self-inflicted double marathon challenge. By Sunday afternoon I should be relieved and happy as well as in pain and telling everyone "never again", knowing very well that there will be more challenges. But whatever happens, running London was one of the things that I was really looking forward to running and I will always be very grateful to all of you for helping me and REACH to achieve our goals! Well thanks to all of you and wish me luck! Anybody in town On Sunday is invited to come and join for a celebratory drink at the Bok Bar on Blandford street from early afternoon! I've decided to exploit my taste for silly ideas and obsessive running for a good cause this year. I'm planning on running both the Paris and London marathon within only 3 weeks. The charity I'll be supporting is Reach that offers support and help to children with upper limbs deficiencies. For more information you can check their website: http://www.reach.org.uk/reachcms

Please give generously as this is for a good cause and do feel free to come and support me along the way (Paris is always nice at this time of the year)! You can donate through this site, or if you’d prefer to do it the old fashioned way I can dig out some paper forms, just contact me if needed.
