I have taken part in many charity events over the years and always keen to help. We all know someone or have lost someone through cancer and unfortunately my wife was diagnosed with the horrible disease in 2013. She had breast cancer, triple negative, and not to do things by halfs (she is a Rea afterall) it was the most aggressive form and quite unusual for someone so young (she is 35). She had a lengthy op back in October 13 where they removed the cancer and also reconstructed her breasts. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and after that requires radio therapy. By the time we start the event we are praying that Kellie will have completed treatment and had the all clear. She plans to be at one of the checkpoints enroute to give some of us a bit of supportand encouragement to complete the event.

Please please give something to this great cause no matter how little. Oh and its not a race by the way.....................
