Date: 27th September to 30th September 2012

As a group of Lucy's 30 something mates we never listened anywhere near enough at school to be doctors, so we cant fight the battle for her. However we can assist by attempting to raise us much awareness and cash as we can for Lovely Lucy and all those fighting the same war.

Thats why the 6 of us are embarking on a small trip with 6 bicycles and 1 van to ride from John O'Groats to Lands End.
I know what you're thinking 'Blah, blah, blah, Lands End John O Groats AGAIN' but stick with us cause we're doing it with a twist.

With Lovely Lucy as our inspiration we've set ourselves the target of riding the whole thing non-stop in a relay. . . in three days. There will be a pair of us cycling constantly 24 hours a day, three getting some sleep and the sixth keeping the van on the road. In total we'll cover approximately 850 miles which roughly equates to about 280 miles per pair and if you think that sounds easy you want to meet us, even I dont want to spend 3 days non-stop with us and thats not even taking the smell of sweaty three day old lycra into consideration.

So here it is, the bottomline, we need you to show your support by giving us some of your hard earned cash.

p.s - if you generous people manage to get us past the £2k mark we'll show our gratitude by putting ourselves through even more personal discomfort - we agreed to not change our riding kit at all during the whole ride no matter how sweaty/wet/muddy/gritty. C'mon, thats gotta be worth a couple extra quid!
