Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Please help me raise as much brass/cash/wonga/spondoolics as possible for this most worthy cause.....All charities exist to make someone's life better or to even help save a life. In my opinion, the Bone Cancer Research Trust - www.bonecancerresearch.org.uk - doesn't receive the support it deserves.
A friend of mine, Tim Carvell, lost his young daughter Jennifer to this cruel condition so I want to do my bit to help make a difference.
On 17th October 2009, I set off from my Wigan home and cycled north to the very tip of Lancashire - all the way to Silverdale infact (gateway to the Lake District). This epic was about 65 miles and blimey, it hurt. Luckily, I'm in good shape and I raced the clock to get the job done in 3 hours and twenty minutes.
I went through quite a few pain barriers to do it this fast and I think it is well worth you getting your debit/credit card out and donating a few quid!! Hey, I think the fact that I didn't even stop at one bacon butty van along the way warrants a donation!
Please, anything you can spare will be very much appreciated.
