G'day

Well on the evening of Wednesday 23rd September 2009, 38 very weary souls got out of their beds at Kibo Hut, and ventured up Kibo slope to reach Gilmans point and ultimately Uhuru Peak

And yours truly was one of those souls who made it.  I would say it was the hardest physical challenge I have ever been involved in and one i will truly remember for the rest of my life.

To be above the clouds when the sun rises is truly magical and tears flowed for many of us, not just because of the views and the emotions flowing from the climb, but also from the mates me made along the way.  36 out of 38 people made it a great achievement for our tour guide Henk.

Thank you all for your support and the donations made.  it is still not to late to make donations for me to reach my target, so dig deep

Thanks again

Nigel
