I am cycling the 40 miles from Manchester to Liverpool on 31 st May to help raise much needed funds for Toft Cricket Club. Please sponsor me, help support the cricket club and the junior section.

Toft CC is Clubmark accredited - Our emphasis is on fun, enjoyment and giving juniors, of all abilities, the opportunity to learn skills and play a game of cricket.

All coaches are volunteers, are ECB and CRB qualified, and coach on average 160 juniors per year over a six month period (Feb - July).

To achieve these objectives we need to maintain / replenish bats, helmets, pads, and other equipment that the club purchases for juniors to use. We support families on low income. Other specific items for all juniors to use include coaching mats approx £175 each.

We currently have 4 new coaches and each coach requires a kit bag to store usual items such as Incredi's Tennis balls, Wind balls, First aid kits, Cones, Sequencing disks, Agility ladders, Bean bags etc. We are planning on getting another 6 qualified this year.

Our overall project target is approx £7500 in total - The club is able to invest in this as the junior section is seen as the future of the club however we still need to get grants and donations to provide for the full funding hence why we are getting on our bikes and doing something extra
