A few years ago, our friend Sarah Kitchener was diagnosed with a brain tumour. There is currently no cure and Sarah has been given a life expectancy of around 10 years, unless research produces better treatments for the condition.
The SDBTT Astro Fund are the only charity in the world who raise money for Sarah's type of tumour.
Last year Julia and myself were all set to do the Three Peaks challenge. Unfortunately a number of unfortunate events, including my glandular fever meant that this never happened.
Well, you will be glad to know we have set up another challenge, walking the whole length of the Kennet and Avon canal in three days. Are we mad. Yes, that's from Bristol to Reading a total of 87 miles!! We have set this up starting 13th September and finishing on the 15th.
