West Coast Cycle · 16 February 2007

Action for M.E. works to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect people with M.E. experience. Our children's services offer support and information to children and young people with M.E., their families and carers carrying on the vital work of AYME, the Association of Young People with M.E.

Story

I'm not sure if this is a late mid-life crisis based on fear and denial regarding my advancing age but on May 10, I am setting out with friend Chris Hill from Devon for  a 1007 mile, 17 day cycle ride up the west coast going through the Lake District, Dumfries, Inverary, Glencoe, Lock Ness, Carbisdale Castle, Tongue and John of Groats.          Please help make this a record-breaking fundraiser for two amazing charities, the Association of Young People with ME, AYME, and M.E. North East. Both charities support children with an illness that I have worked extremely hard to get recognised and understood.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanking you in advance for your generous support. Nigel
