We work in local communitites across the UK to protect & support the young & vulnerable

Story

News Update.  So we have now completed Byte Night and we had a great time doing it (see the link below).  The experience does provoke a few thoughts.  We had to deal with just one night sleeping rough and even then we had plenty of clothes, a warm sleeping bag, a survival bag, plenty of food available and safe surroundings.

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

The idea is pretty simple: members of the IT industry are going to be spending the night sleeping rough outside in order to raise money for NCH.

NCH runs more than 500 projects for some of the UK's most vulnerable and excluded children and young people, and their families, supporting over 160,000 people at children's centres throughout the UK.

NCH also promotes social justice by lobbying and campaigning for change.

Today, NCH is the leading UK provider of family and community centres, children's services in rural areas, services for disabled children and their families, and services for young people leaving care.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NCH, the children's charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Our plan is to spend the night out under the stars in Reading to raise as much money as we can for NCH. There are going to be a few of us with luck and I will keep you posted with updates on my Byte Night blog.
