In Febuary 2012 Karen and Niki will be biking across Vietnam and Cambodia in aid of Against Breast Cancer, a local charity funding the unique research to increase survival after diagnosis and find a vaccine against Breast Cancer.
Our week long 525km cycle takes us from Vietamese Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City, through rice-paddies and waterways of the Mekong Delta into Cambodia. We will encounter rolling hills (and landmines in Cambodia!) but the main challenge lies in the long, hot dusty days in the saddle as we cycle through these remote areas.
Breat cancer is something that we all know about. Most of us know somebody who has suffered. We have set our target as £3k. Please help us reach that and help Against Breast Cancer carry on their valuable work.
We are funding the trip ourselves so every penny raised goes directly to the charity we have chosen. Neither of us have biked more than a couple of miles before so this year will be a challenge for us preparing for the trip!
