Well, only a week to go and Nikki is in fine shape apart from a troublesome ankle but will put this at the back of her mind to complete the race. If it's weather like today, it will be brilliant! Please help us try and raise as much as we can. Thanks!

LATEST NEWS!! As you may or may not know, Paul's mum sadly passed away on the 2nd September. She was an incredibly brave and remarkable woman and we are still begging you for more money for MacMillan. On a happier note, Nikki's training has intensified and she is looking in fantastic shape for the Great South Run on the 24th October! 


LATEST NEWS!! An amazing £861.51 raised from Paul's night at the club on 27th August means that we have SMASHED our target and are now aiming for more. Thanks to Shrecky, Berth and the Notts boys for donating their shirts and thanks to everyone who bid on them and also donated throughout the day. On a sad note, Paul's mum is deteriorating daily, so although the money being raised is fantastic, it is a difficult time for us all. Any thoughts, best wishes or donations are always appreciated.

LATEST NEWS!! 25/7/10 £210 raised!!! Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far! This weekend sees Paul in action behind the decks at Camborne Cricket Club where everyone is welcome to come along. We will be collecting money throughout the day and also hopefully holding an auction in the evening. See you there!!

LATEST NEWS!! £95 raised in the first week! Thanks you SOOOO much to everyone for their donations and their kind and supportive words. Paul is now getting set to DJ on the 31st July and my training is going well. We will be posting photos of the latest training efforts soon!

As you may or may not know, my mum-in-law who lives with my husband Paul and I, has terminal cancer. This is a stressful time for all of us, especially mum, but we are eternally grateful for the help of Andy Shury, mums MacMillan nurse. 

Andy provides mum and Paul with guidance, reassurance and will help with anything that we need. In return, I have decided to do something to help and will be running the Great South Run in Southsea, Portsmouth, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

So, we need your donations, big or small! Anything will help me provide money for this fantastic charity, so please donate from the bottom of your heart.

I've been up at the crack of dawn starting training and have even cut back on the wine intake!! Paul is helping me with promoting this site and will be doing a disco to help raise money on the 31st July at Camborne Cricket Club, following the game against Redruth. He will also be promoting this through his Facebook page and also in the local press. We will be keeping this site updated with training progress, so please feel free to contact us with any supporting messages and good wishes!
