The Ear Foundation helped fund the first cochlear implants for deaf children in the UK. We now support children, young people & adults who use a variety of modern hearing technologies. Offering independent advice & activites to bridge the gap between clinics where they're fitted and home where used.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

When I first got my implant at 6 years old only around 80 people had a cochlear implant. Now over 3,500 children and adults have cochlear implants in the .

The reason why I chose the Ear Foundation is because they did an amazing job in helping me when I got my cochlear implant and supporting me since then in different ways. I would not be the person I am today if I didn’t have an implant– depends if you think that’s a good thing or not?!?!

I want to give something little back to them and what better than raising money to help them support other people in the same position as I was and make their lives better.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Ear Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
