Raising money for Action Heart

Action Heart provides a cardiac rehabilitation service that helps people who have suffered from a heart attack, undergone cardiac surgery, or have a cardiac related condition. Coronary Heart Disease is now seen to be the UK's biggest killer and Action Heart is dedicated to the primary and secondary prevention of this condition.

We will be running the 2012 Virgin London Marathon to raise money for Action Heart - a local charity based at Russells Hall Hospital in the West Midlands. Action Heart provide cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention for people who have suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery or have a heart related condition.

All of the procees raised will be used to further develop the services provided by Action Heart.
