After badgering other people for the last 2 years to raise money for I CAN it's finally payback time and I'm taking part in the adidas 5km women's challenge on Sunday.

I CAN is the children's communication charity. I have seen for myself the amazing work that I CAN does helping children who struggle with speech and language. . The money I raise will go towards the holiday project at one of our special schools for children with severe and complex communication difficulties. The project gives children and their siblings time away from home to help build important social skills, and provides opportunities for the children to make friends with kids in their local commuity as well as giving families some respite time. It's an amazing project so please give generously.

Without appropriate help, these children would have real difficulty developing the skills they need to learn to read and write, become independent adults and contribute to their community. So every penny you donate really will change lives.
