FQMS works to advance medical education throughout Palestine and the medical school at Al Quds University, Jerusalem, supporting visiting lecturers, examiners, teaching materials, student and faculty participation in conferences, clinical supervision, specialist training, the development of e-learning & video conferencing, shelter for students on clinical rotation under curfew.

Hey guys,

For those of you who don't know us, our names are Nishat Lal and Sara Khan. We are first year students at the University of Manchester. We will be running the 10k Manchester Run on the 18th of May for the Foundation For Al-Quds University Medical School, a faculty of the Palestinian University of Jerusalem.

It seems that there are very few enterprises in Palestine which can have such beneficial long term results in terms of medical education. Due to the desperate economic situation in the West Bank and Gaza at the moment, it is essential that we see it as our duty to back this Medical School - which trains future doctors for Palestine, a country which has a virtually non existant Health Care system, and lies in desperate need of doctors.

Our contributions are vital as the Medical school relies almost ENTIRELY on donations to teach the students.
