On Sunday 5th October, I am running the BUPA Great North Run.  It is no mean feat, as approximately 3 times as many people die each year attempting it than doing the London Marathon!

The plan is to raise £2,500 for the Dogs Trust, formerly the National Canine Defense Leauge who found homes for over 10,000 dogs last year.

I know you have all been bombarded this year with human charities, but these guys need help too, so please try to donate something / anything to help me reach the target.  And please forward to any dog-lovers - grannies, friends etc...
