Story

Hello.

I am running 2 10km runs in October (one at the start, one at the end) which is effectively a distributed 20km run which is a half marathon*. This makes me awesome.

Update: I have completed the first run in 53 minutes 27 seconds which is a personal best. Woop and indeed de-doop.

It is traditional, when running these things, to raise money for charity. Which makes JustGiving a very handy service.

This time round I'm raising money for Aberlour who are (it says here) "the largest, solely Scottish, children’s charity" who provide "help to over 6000 of Scotland’s most vulnerable children, young people and their families each year" which makes them very nice people, if you ask me.

So now all I need you to do is set aside your worries about cash in the global economic climate and sponsor me a few pennies and make me feel better about humanity. Thanks.

Hugs all round.

Niall

* update: apologies - it has been pointed out that 20km is 1.1km shy of a half marathon, but I still think I'm awesome.
