I've visited the Thrive project in Barton a few times now and two things have impacted me.

1- That the people behind this project have given so fully of their time, their money and their hearts to the people of this community.

2- The difference this makes to individuals in an estate which has been largely marginalised and ignored by the town of which it is a part. A sense of hope and purpose is in the air.

I'm exicted about this project because it could be used as a launch pad for similar projects in struggling communities all over the UK. Please give generously! :)
