No Bull, Just Yaks! Is the team we are entering into the Mongol Rally 2012.
What’s the Mongol Rally?
The Mongol Rally is a charity rally, which challenges teams to drive from UK to Mongolia.

· 10,000 miles across deserts and mountains
· Driving across a 1/3 of the Earth’s surface
· No set route, pit stops or guidance along the way. The team will make its way across Europe, and then into the likes of Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan before reaching Mongolia.
· All this is achieved in a 1 – 1.2 litre engine car
· The journey will take around 4 – 6 weeks and starts July 2012
The Charity
We are raising funds for Scottish Love in Action. http://www.sla-india.org/ Scottish Love in Action (SLA) is a charity based in Scotland that cares for and supports destitute children in India. They feed, clothe, house, educate and provide medical care to over 560 children by providing funding for two Home-cum-Schools in Tuni and Hyderabad, both in Andhra Pradesh, south-east India.
We have chosen this charity as Ben has spent time in India and has seen the sometimes harsh living conditions firsthand. We know that Scottish Love in Action makes a big difference to destitute children’s lives.
The Team
We are a two-man team, Tom Lee and Ben Bishop, looking for an adventure. We have been close friends for 12 years and we feel confident that we will cope well with whatever situations arise along the way. Tom is a trained mechanic and Ben has dabbled with cars and bikes over the years, so hopefully the little car will be in good hands.
