Just before Xmas 2006 my niece was born prematurely.She sadly passed away the same day as she was born leaving our family devastated. In order to raise funds for Bliss (the national premature baby charity) I will be running the Great North Run in full Welsh (female) national costume.

The Great North Run is the largest ½marathon in the world with 55,000 competitors (approx 25,000 more than the London marathon.)

One in eight babies is born premature or sick .BLISS is committed to addressing this crisis by campaigning for improvement in neonatal care, supporting parents and carers, promoting developments, innovations and good practice throughout the neonatal sector.
