Story

As you probably know, a few years ago I had quite a bad knee injury and was told I probably wouldn't be able to run again.

Never one to listen to such things, I started building up my running, and in the last year or two have started running 10ks.

After a minor setback of a dislocated shoulder, I am now back on form, and have decided to attempt the ultimate challenge for me- a half marathon.

I am running to raise money for Bowel Cancer, in honour of my late Grandad, who I miss very much even though I barely got the chance to know him.

As well as the Great North Run, I will be running the Great North 10k and the Great Scottish Run. All money I raise will go towards Bowel Cancer UK.

So please, please dig deep, even if you can only afford a pound or two. It would mean so much to me.

Thank you :)

UPDATE: Thank you so much to everybody who helped me reach my target of £1000 :) I'm now going to try and see if I can reach £1500- that would be absolutely amazing :)
