My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are on an adventure to cycle around the world. We set off from Nordkapp in Northern Norway on the 4th June '12 and are heading to Cape Town in South Africa. We then plan to head from the Southern tip of Chile up to Northern Alaska – hence the name of our trip ‘ North to North cycle tour’.
We are cycling unsupported and have researched our route and kit with the help of other cycle tourists who are more experienced than us.
During our trip we’re raising awareness and money for ShelterBox which is based in Helston, Cornwall. We have chosen them as they are based locally and help people all around the world. We went to visit them and were really impressed with the work that they do. Their vision is of a world where everyone affected by disaster has access to the shelter and basic equipment they need to survive and live in dignity and safety.
We hope you’ll follow us and keep in touch as we travel.
