We represent the interests and campaign for the rights of all deaf children and young people from birth to independence. NDCS believes that the family is the most important influence on a deaf child's development. NDCS supports the deaf child through the family as well as directly supporting deaf children and young people themselves.

I am aiming to become the first deaf person to reach the North Pole by foot and I am undergoing vigorous training in order to achieve this target.

I am also doing 30 pool exhibitions nights for charity, free of charge, all over the UK while trying to juggle this with my IPT Pool career and business which won't be easy, but I think it'll be worth the blood and sweat if I can present the NDCS with a cheque for £50,000.

I am hoping that all of you out there who know me personally can pass on this link onto your friends, as we the more that know about this, the better. In cases like this, a little does make a difference at the end.

Being deaf myself, I know what it's like to be a deaf child with a future that looks bleak but I am one of the lucky ones who made it.
