3 Peaks Challenge · 27 May 2012

Across Norfolk and Suffolk, we work alongside young people and adults to overcome the impact of drugs, alcohol, and mental health issues so they can live life more fully. In addition, we offer specialist services for both family members impacted by others’ substance misuse and for veterans.

Instead of taking stroll along the beach, someone decided that he&rsquo;d like to give the Three Peaks Challenge a go. What this really means is that we sit in our a car for 11 hours of a day, and then every so often get out of it to make a rather mad dash up a mountain in the rain , mist and cold. Sounds like fun.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.918);">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0px; color: #222222; font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.918);">We will start at Ben Nevis in Scotland early on the 27<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>of May and then head onto Scarfell Pike on the way down to Snowdon in North Wales on the 28<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>May. The best and most daunting part is that we our final ascent of will be a two o&rsquo;clock in the morning. The beauty is that will come down Snowdon at dawn &ndash; in time for a good ole fry-up.&nbsp;</p>
