Those of you who know me well will know that I am rarely seen without a steaming hot cup of tea in my hand. I love the stuff. If you don't know this, then let me enlighten you, I feel much the same way about my tea as about my specs. That is to say that it is the first thing I reach for in the morning, and I face a blurry, distorted world without it.

Suffice to say, I'm a true addict.

 

What of it?

What I propose is that I give up my beloved tipple for a whole month. Many of you may think a skydive would be more apt as a fundrarsing challenge, but to me this is almost as scary!

What I'm hoping is that you'll support me by digging deep and sponsoring my period of abstinence. Please? I've even written in purple expecially for you.

I've just been told by my other half that it would be even more of a challenge if I give up crisps too. So now I truely have very little to get my through my long tea-less, crisp-less days. The two things I love most... gone!

 

What happens to the dosh?

I'm not making this personal sacrifice for nothing, let me tell you! I would very much like to raise some money for Epilepsy Research UK. This charity pretty much do what they say on the tin, they raise funds to research the causes of Epilepsy and try to find a cure.

I am doing this because my aforementioned other half (of crisp denying fame) recently lost a Grandmother to Epilepsy and, although I only knew her for a relatively short length of time, I can see that there is a Margaret shaped hole in lots of people's lives that simply shouldn't be there...

So, please do try to find a couple of pennies to sponsor me (note the pursuasive purpleness again!). It may not seem like a big challenge, but it is for me! I'm gasping already...
