Sick Kids Save Point · 12 October 2012 to 14 October 2012 ·

We support Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Children and Young People by giving seriously ill children and their families the extra support they need when facing a life-changing hospital visit. We speed up recovery, take away fear and provide reassurance, distraction and fun every step of the way.

Story

Hokey coke, Sick Kids Save Point is back!  Playing games and saving kids is back!  Showing the world that video gamers are not introverted teenage boys but in reality well adjusted adults who have families of their own!  Showing the world that you can raise money for a good causes doing something other than trudging along with faceless others in running marathons!

This 12-14th October well over 50 gamers will be gaming across the country for a solid 24+hrs in aid of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation. They will support each other through what is genuinly a tough ordeal across social media networks and across game networks e.g Playstation.

So to help you appreciate what we do I will paint a picture for you: Imagine yourself satying awake for 24hrs, now imagine yourself staying awake for 24hrs doing just one thing continually,  now imagine that one thing requires a high level of concentration and you dare not blink.

Finally please, we can't do this without your support.  Please help.
