Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have entered the ‘Screwball Rally’, www.screwballrally.co.uk/index.html   a 2000 mile trip around Europe in a car costing less than £700. It takes five days in September and will cover eight countries. We currently have a 23 year old, reliable Vauxhall Nova 1.0 that is a good runner and ready to go.

We have entered this with the aim to raise as much money as possible for ‘Bosom Pals’ and ‘DebRA’

John's mother in-law died last October after battling with breast cancer for two years and received outstanding support from the nurses at Southend Hospital during her last few months. The hospital is currently raising money to purchase two new digital mammography machines and associated computer equipment that will improve cancer detection rates.

Dan unfortunately has a nephew suffering from EB, Epidermolysis Bullosa,  which is a very rare genetic condition in which the skin and internal body linings blister at the slightest knock or rub, causing painful, open wounds. He unfortunately has the most severe strain, which means it is life shortening. This condition is supported by the charity DebRA.

We both feel these are excellent charities to represent and raise necessary funds to help them with their work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks
