2008 Round Britain Offshore Power Boat Race · 9 June 2008

St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides end of life care in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. It is the generosity of the caring community and people like you who enable over 300 people and their families at any given time access to this specialist support through the toughest of times.

Story

The ‘No Worries’ race team consists of 4 neighbours and friends who all live in the same road in Saltash (Cornwall), and we’re largely funding the race ourselves – firstly to raise money for St Lukes Hospice (Plymouth), and secondly as a personal challenge.

The Race is reckoned to be one of the most gruelling and demanding boat races in the world – very physically demanding on both boats & competitors.  It is run over 8 legs of up to 200 miles each day over a 9 day period, with boats reaching speeds of up to 100 mph.

We really do appreciate your sponsorship and hope that you will support us on our challenge of a lifetime.... Thank you - 'No Worries' team.  FOR UPDATES OF HOW THE TEAM ARE GETTING ON -  www.theunagroup.co.uk/noworries
