When we first started, we focused exclusively on providing food to starving people. Today our initiatives focus on women’s rights, and building the skills and strengths of people and local institutions to solve their own problems. CARE Egypt Challenge
The Challenge
The CARE Egypt challenge will take place around St Catherine’s, situated in the heart of the Sinai Peninsula. On this challenge you will be led by Bedouin guides to tackle three mountains over three days.
This includes Mt Catherine, the highest mountain in Egypt, where at the summit you will be rewarded with stunning views of the whole of the Sinai.The area is sacred to three world religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
