Larken Gowen City of Norwich Half Marathon · 5 September 2008

We are a Colchester based charity which provides specialist palliative and end of life care to local people facing incurable illness in north east Essex, supporting them, their families, friends and carers.

Story

Dear generous friends and family,

Building on Procurement's success in running the City of Norwich Half Marathon in 2007, a few brave souls have again taken it upon themselves to test the limits of the human body in aid of a good cause. This year's run takes place on Sunday 30th November.

Runners this year, each sporting machine-like levels of fitness (cough-cough), include:

-Chris Boyle

-Toby Ellenor

-Phil Singleton

-Chic Graham

-Dennis Stanley

-Lloyd Douglas

-James Lusher

-Adam Mcphee (Non- Procurement)

Our Charity this year is the very worthy cause of St Helena Hospice (details to the left), who care for people in Essex who have progressive and terminal illnesses. They provide a difficult but fantastic service and are entirely reliant on donations from kind people such as yourselves. We are aiming to raise £300 between us, which we then hope NU will match. If we achieve this goal, you will be helping in making a huge difference for the Hospice. To get the ball rolling, I have even sponsored the team myself!

Please support us in our efforts, your donation is simple and very gratefully recieved.

Many thanks in advance - the NU Procurement team.
