As many of you know,I have volunteered for the past 11yrs with Crisis,helping to organise and run the largest of the many shelters the charity opens up during the Xmas period.Whilst Crisis continues its work with the homeless throughout the year,the services,support and friendships we help to provide during possibly one of the hardest times of year are simply invaluable.It's a charity incredibly close to my heart.
I was due to run the Great North Run with my Crisis shift team this yr,but unfortunately back problems have forced me to withdraw from the race.I was gutted and felt I'd let them down.As a joke,during a random drunken night,a friend suggested I shave my head instead,as a way to raise money.So ermm here we are! So considering I'm now going to spend the next three months looking like a convict,or worse! please dig deep and help me raise the minimum £1500 target Ive set myself.
D-day for the head shaving is the 27th August...and don't worry there will be photographic evidence!!
