Below is some information on what we are doing and please visit the website on www.nutznbolts.webs.com

The Mongol Rally is a banger rally that leaves Hyde Park, London on 19th July 2009 in order to raise loads of money for charity. It is not a race, there are no sports cars and there are no prizes for first place. It is purely all about adventure. Approximatly 300 teams will be attempting this crazy trip next July and we will be running two teams. The rules of the rally are as follows.. Get from Hyde Park to Ulaan Baator, the capital of Mongolia (depending on route circa 10,000miles) ... Your car can have an engine no bigger than 1000cc ... and each team must raise a minimum of £1000 for charity. There is no support and no set route, once we leave London it is down to the teams to navigate, drive, push, walk, beg, cry and bribe their way however they see fit to Mongolia all in the aid for charity.

Six members of Kinross Rugby Football Club will be attempting this epic challenge in two cars yet to be purchased. We will leave Kinross on 18th July in order to meet up with the rest of the rally. We will be holding a number of fundraising events over the course of the next 10 months so that we can give a huge chunk of cash to Childrens Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation (CNCF) and the Mercy Corps, in particular the TAN project in Mongolia. More information regarding our chosen charities can be found on the 'Charities" page along with links to allow you to donate now. We are of course open to Sponsorship by individuals or by companies wishing to have their logos displayed on this website, fundraising events or alternatively we will be selling "advertising space" on our two bangers!! For more information please visit the "Routes of Sponsorship" page on our website. Being rugby players we are also open to "challenges along the way" no matter how hidious. It is safe to say, for a fair price we are willing to do pretty much anything. As long as we are raising money we are game!!!! So, go on. Have a laugh for your money and see it all going to a good cause!!!!!!!!!!.
