N W Brown have had a long relationship with The Papworth Trust and when we were offered the chance to partake in the 50k walk and raise funds to support their fantastic work, we jumped at the chance!
The Papworth Trust is a disability charity based in Cambridgeshire. Their mission is for disabled people to have equality, choice and independence. They provide a number of invaluable key services, including employment, personal support, training, housing, advice and rehabilitation, to about 13,000 disabled people each year.

Myself, Cara, Matt, Debbie, Martin and Harry will be setting off early on the 6th June and heading to the start of the 50k route at Thetford Forest in Norfolk, where we will be heading south, picking up the ancient track the Icknield Way. We will then follow this south-west, through the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire countryside and finish in Newmarket, hopefully in time for a well deserved pint!
At over 30 miles, this will be a challenging event and whilst we are all, of course, in the best of physical fitness (with maybe a few exceptions...) we will need all the support we can get - so please, give us as much encouragement as you can muster and as many pennies as you can spare towards our target!
