Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having got over the initial shock of being diagnosed with multiple myeloma (an incurable blood cancer that occurs in the bone marrow) in September 2017, I began fundraising for the charity Myeloma UK organising and running various events such as quiz and entertainment nights, raffles, live Christmas tree light switch-on amongst many others.

In 2020 I decided I would like to raise £60k by my 60th Birthday if I was still around despite 2020 almost being written off by Covid 19 I managed a couple of virtual events to date and with your help I have raised around £10,000.

As my 60th birthday approaches I find myself trying to raise £60,000 in 1 year, an ambitious target as I continue to fight underlying health issues.

Despite these issue's I am aiming big and plan to arrange a host of fun-filled events to enable everyone to enjoy taking part in before my 60th in April 2022.

This JG page will remain open for donations from now until I can reach my audacious target of £60,000. 🧡🧡🧡🥰😁👍

Please help in any way you can whether it be £5 or £5,000 I assure you that every pound is very gratefully received not only by me but by the whole Myeloma UK Community 🧡🥰
