Hello,
I am raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust this year by taking part in the Mera Peak Trek in Nepal from 8-29 September and would really welcome your support.
Mera Peak is 6,654m (21,825ft) high near Everest in Nepal. It is an intensive challenge at high altitude which requires a lot of training to prepare for walking through the crevasses and steep climbing.
However as I am not known for my ‘swimmers build’ the training regime will be quite intensive and I have a very demanding few months coming up.
How can you help?
You can sponsor me to climb the mountain or just to lose the weight? Whichever you choose makinig a donation is really easy - you can donate by credit or debit card on this page.
All donations are secure and sent electronically to Anthony Nolan Trust. If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving will automatically reclaim 28% Gift Aid on your behalf, so your donation is worth even more. Please join me in supporting the Anthony Nolan Trust and a fabulous cause.
The Anthony Nolan Trust has been supported by CVD for the last couple of years, but this year we have decided to make it our sole charity cause. Lots of staff have taken up the challenges and we hope to raise up to £50,000 over the year. Please take a moment to visit this link to the Anthony Nolan Trust website.
If you are able to attend our 10 Year Anniversary fundraiser Ball please click on this link to see details on our www.cvdgroup.co.uk webpage. Maybe you could donate a prize for the ball!
Thanks and best wishes - Owen Barrett
