Welcome to the online charity home of Jaguar Land Rover's very own, Oblivion Runners.

On the 25th July this group of intrepid adventurer's will embark on the testing 3 Peaks Challenge. The adventure starts on Saturday 25th July at the foot of Ben Nevis (4406ft) in Scotland, taking us overnight to Scaffell Pike (3206ft) in Cumbria, England, and finishing at the base of Mt Snowdon (3560ft) in Wales, covering a total distance of 473 miles, climbing 11172ft all in the space of 24 hours.

The team will be going through a tough training regime which will include regular interval training on Warwickshire's own Burton Dassett, aka 'The Pork Pie'. Training will be conducted by Oblivion Runner's inspirational fitness guru Tom Ley, who maybe faces the greatest challenge of all!

In fitting with the long standing partnership between The British Red Cross and Jaguar Land Rover, we will be provided with full vehicle support for this event, ably lead by Rich Fryatt and Cian Radford, who will be in charge of safely delivering the walking team to each destination.

Most people are aware of what the Red Cross do but if you would like more info then please head over to their website and you will find more information on their projects.

Our aim for this challenge is to raise £3000 for The British Red Cross, a task you could greatly help us with. As well as completing the Challenge itself, we shall be organising some events along the way to achieve this total, and with some extra elbow grease even exceed our targets. So please give what you can, and we will also be getting in touch to let you know about the fund raising occasions that are in the pipeline.

Amongst the events being organised will be a five-aside football tournament towards the middle of June, and a party/BBQ for anyone who is interested in sponsoring, or simply wants to have some fun and help us out! We shall also be organising a thank you bash post-event, to firstly thank all contributors, financial and other, as well as to celebrate our achievement.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor Oblivion Runners: The British Red Cross Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

On behalf of Oblivion Runners and the British Red Cross we thank you for your time and hope you can help us in whatever way possible, and please check back between now and the event, as we will be keeping you updated on both our fundraising and training progress.
