Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  As you have got this far you will know that I am running the London Marathon on 23rd April.  I'm rather nervous but have been trying to train as much as possible!

I am raising money for SCCWID which is a charity set up by Sophie Watson who was in my year at school.  SCCWID (Sophie's Campaign for children's wards for interesting things to do) raises money to provide entertainment and facilities for children to improve the quality of their lives whilst in the John Radcliffe Hospital, where Sophie was undergoing chemotherapy.  Sadly Sophie died in January 2000, but SCCWID is still going strong having raised over £250,000 and is being run by her family.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me as SCCWID (part of Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Funds) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!
Thank you very much for your support.
