“A Song for Paul 2” Free Concert held in Ocean car park in aid of Weldmar Hospice Trust
Paul, a local lad was struck down with cancer last year and received respite with our local hospice the Weldmar Hospice Trust. Paul worked with and for Ocean Bathrooms for over five years fitting bathrooms. He was a lovely young man, with a lively sense of humour and always worked to the highest standard.
We decided to host a concert in the car park, friends and family baked cakes, made tea and sold raffle tickets .The concert, cakes and raffle raised over £1300 last year much to our delight.
Unfortunately Paul has died but we thought we would like to keep his memory alive by hosting another “A song for Paul “concert in our car park.
Maybe this year with your help we can aim to raise even more money to help those suffering with cancer.
Ocean Bathrooms is promoting a second charity “a Song for Paul” event to be held in our car park on Saturday 31st May from 10.30am ‘til 4.30pm. We need lots of people to come and support it and wondered if you would like to come to the concert or donate a raffle prize or even bake cake or biscuits?
“A Song for Paul “Is a free concert featuring local musicians all giving their time “for free.
There will be music all day, plenty of cakes and tea/coffee, raffles, stalls, lucky dips and pledges.
Last year was amazing with music playing and
people munching cakes in our car park, we all had a lovely time and we want to
repeat that with your help.
