<p>Southall Harries Limited have made a decision to enter a vehicle into the first (of hopefully many) 'Oddball Run' in aid of Edwards Trust, a local charity based in Birmingham.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #0000ff; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt;">Edward’s Trust is a vital and extremely hardworking local charity based in Birmingham, West Midlands. An unsung, no frill hero that is working daily with parents, children and families who have suffered the tragedy of bereavement, often in very difficult and unexpected circumstances. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">With growing demands and record levels of referrals in their 21 year history, they are forced to work on a 20% reduced working week because of a lack of funds.</span> Edwards Trust take every step to ensure monies are used for the direct benefit of our service users and that donations made go exactly where they should!!!</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;">This September, the charity is set to hold its first ever Oddball Run - a fun motorsport event open to anyone keen to get behind the wheel (and a good cause) to help raise an amazing £50,000 for Edward’s Trust. </span></p>

<p>Starting out from the Marriott Hotel in Birmingham on 16th Se<span style="font-size: small;">ptember, with an overnight stop in Llandudno before returning to Birmingham on 17</span><span style="font-size: xx-small;">th </span></p>
</font><font size="3">September, the Oddball Run is not a race (there are no points for speed!) but a challenging and enjoyable drive with a few motorsport tests and trials along the way. </font></span></p>

<p>To keep things really interesting, teams of two have been invited to enter in cars costing no more than £650* that are capable of reaching the finish line. The aim is to have around 40 cars driving in convoy to North Wales and back.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;"></span></span>Southall Harries have purchased Archie the Ambulance to hopefully complete the challenge. Having covered more than 100,000 miles in it's working life we hope it can help raise more money before the gearbox seizes!!! Matthew Southall and Marc Harries are therefore looking for your support in a very worthwhile cause - And if we reach our fundraising target we may just get dressed up for the part!!!</p>
