Odyssey bike ride

190 miles Darlington to Peterborough completed in 9 hours  

 

Well I bet you never thought they would make it, but Mike and Andrew have managed to cycle a staggering total of 335 miles for charity,

 

Mike and Andrews final journey to Peterborough started from crack of dawn, on the 25 September, but they didn’t get off to a good start as Andrew almost immediately fell off his bike.

 

After a bit of a shaky start by Andrew they both set off on a 185 mile 9 hour ride to Peterborough. 

 

Mike said “ this was an easy ride I could have done it again, I didn’t even have to eat breakfast or lunch, bring on the next challenge”. They even had the chance to take a Video of their journey. You can view this on You Tube, Just follow the link below,

Mike and Andrews Journey saw them travelling an impressive speed of 19.3 miles Per hour, a fast speed considering the weather conditions.

 

Mike is now willing to up the stakes even further in the quest to find a journey that will actually tire him out, planning an epic Darlington to London Kings Cross station cycle ride. Now there’s a challenge.
