Story

Sun, sea and sand, that’s the glorious image most of us have when we think of summer. However summer 2013 will be remembered by 3 members of the Odyssey team for completely different reasons, so spare a though on the longest day of the year, for this day will bring Odysseys’ Mike, Andrew and Matt, pain, punishment and perspiration.

The Odyssey trio will be attempting to cycle more 290 miles in one day from Darlington and London’s Kings Cross station. They will be pushing their bodies to the absolute limit and crossing pain boundaries to achieve their goal.

This massive undertaking is not for personal gratification, it is all in the name of charity. Mike, Andrew and Matt will be hoping to raise much needed cash for the Daisy Chain Project in Stockton on Tees, a charity supporting families affected by autism, (www.daisychainproject.co.uk)

However when you’re donating please spare a thought for Matt, who is having to undergo intensive training as he hasn’t sat on a bike for a number of years, So please donate generously to spur them on to complete this massive undertaking.
