Odyssey bike ride
Update
190 miles Darlington to Peterborough completed in 9 hours
Well I bet you never thought they would make it, but Mike and Andrew have managed to cycle a staggering total of 335 miles for charity,
Mike and Andrews final journey to Peterborough started from crack of dawn, on the 25 September, but they didn’t get off to a good start as Andrew almost immediately fell off his bike.
After a bit of a shaky start by Andrew they both set off on a 185 mile 9 hour ride to Peterborough.
Mike said “ this was an easy ride I could have done it again, I didn’t even have to eat breakfast or lunch, bring on the next challenge”. They even had the chance to take a Video of their journey. You can view this on You Tube, Just follow the link below, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkRIUNTaiGk
Mike and Andrews Journey saw them travelling an impressive speed of 19.3 miles Per hour, a fast speed considering the weather conditions.
Mike is now willing to up the stakes even further in the quest to find a journey that will actually tire him out, planning an epic Darlington to London Kings Cross station cycle ride. Now there’s a challenge.
