The results of the second Silwood Green Survey suggested that Silwoodians generate 100 tonnes of carbon each year, from business flights alone. Add to this the carbon produced just from keeping the site running as well as all the emissions from local transport of individuals to work and field sites and it quickly becomes apparent that green as we may seem to outsiders, Silwood is no friend to the environment.

Our plan is simple. Anyone wishing to donate can use this Justgiving site and donate as little or as much as they wish to offset their emissions, particularly those generated from getting to and from work, and from work-related long-distance travel.

Every little helps, from a one off donation of ten pounds to a regular contribution calculated to offset your monthly emissions.
