Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Dear all,

I ran following the 10 minute pacer all the way, except for a sprint in the last 200m, finishing in 13,560th on 4:20, which I was really chuffed with. I heartilly enjoyed the whole thing, and only the last three miles were hard (but not too bad). Thank you all for your support and sponsorship! You can see a vid of me at mile 21. There are some other photos of me in the marathon too and more detailed results.

See the training video I took.

If you would like to sponsor me to run the marathon, this site should be easy to use. It's recommended by the MS Society. Just click on the "Sponsor us now" link. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

If you would rather, you can send a cheque to Ben Allanach, DAMTP, CMS, University of Cambridge, Wilberforce Road, Cambridge CB3 0WA. which I'll then give to the charity.

All the best,
Ben Allanach
