<p>The purpose of the Vaughan Sports Foundation is to enable young people from a variety of backgrounds to use sports as a means of development and to build confidence, improve health and further their educational opportunities.</p>
<p>Generally sport within schools has seen a major decline in recent years. One of the key aims of this Foundation is to help reverse that trend by developing a strong extra curricular sporting programme.</p>
<p>The area surrounding the School is one of multi-deprivation. As such, providing solutions to the problems of health, education and social development is essential to ensure the progress of young people in the area.</p>
